*** Warning!  Cat pictures ahead! ***

Recently, OG the Cat went on his first road trip from San Diego, CA to Portland, OR.  He’s not a regular traveler but he took to it like he’d been doing it forever. Our trip lasted four days, just over a thousand miles, and included an unexpected overnight in a tiny town along I-5 in California because of high winds,  a completely unplanned break-down where we were stuck in a parking lot in southern Oregon for about 5 hours, and some special kitty food bought just for this trip.  (Well, we people have our favorite road-trip traveling food so why not something special for the kitty?)

We finally arrived at our destination – a day later than we anticipated – but we made it!

I’d take this wonderful kitty cat on another road trip any day.  Enjoy his pics 🙂

Thank you, Debbie! He did so great on the road that he could easily be a road-cat! Yes, he’ll be staying with his owners; in fact, he’s been staying with them since the day after we got here (I wanted to keep him one more night after our trip but I turned him over to them the next day). He’s turned into a really nice house pet since being on his own after Gracie died. I hope his owners allow him to stay inside with them – inside cats just seem to have longer, healthier lives 🙂

    Oh Lois,
Those pictures made my day! Thank you so much for posting them. What a great follow up to hearing the verbal story a few weeks ago.

Isn’t he just the sweetest thing ever, Susan? Such a cutie and such a great traveler, too.
