So we drove down the road, a road that obviously hadn’t been cleared any time recently, and arrived at a very quiet, bright, sunny “river access” – nobody else was there except me and Dinah. The blackberries were growing over the walkways and the yellow and pink wildflowers were in bloom everywhere.
So peaceful with the river running nearby, the sun shining, lizards sunning themselves on the warm asphalt walkways, and the birds singing songs to each other.
