No, I’m not getting any more piercings.
But apparently when I fall on my wrist sideways and break it, I do it up right.
Or wrong. Whatever the case may be.
In any event, I’ll be getting some pieces of metal in the form of pins and maybe a plate or two added to my wrist the day after tomorrow.
And soon, I’ll be able to write a blog page with more than one or two fingers of my left hand.
At least, that’s the idea.
I won’t be responding to your comments but trust me when I say I read them all – and I love and appreciate each and every one. Thank you!
Please hold Dr. Jacobs in your thoughts on Wednesday… and the anesthesiologist, too – I want to wake up from this…
Onward and upward!
PS. Got my hair cut today at Moe’s by Cody, the International Imperial Court System Reigning Princess of Vancouver, Washington. Now I’m ready for surgery!

Lavender roses from Mackenzie; aren’t they gorgeous?
Hi Lois,
You’ve been in my thoughts every day…now I know why…
Do you find yourself speechless at times? In between the pain that is.
A new haircut and roses are a very nice way to set the vibe for Dr Jacobs to do his magic on weds.
Please text an address if it is a fit, either home or hospital.
So sorry to hear of your complications. I know your anesthesiologist will do good. I am sending all anesthesiologist good thoughts as I am having surgery tomorrow, so keeping both of us in my prayers.
Was wondering why you haven’t been doing muchbest wishes speedy recovery and may you always be blessed, you are a blessing to me
Oh, well gosh darn it girl! Sending all love, good thoughts, prayers and throwing it all your way, that the doc does just what he needs to do, so you can go onward and upward!! Keep us posted the best you can.

When it rains it pours! Poor thing, hope it’s not too painful and your surgery goes well, which I’m sure it will! Take care and be careful, we don’t fall like we use to.
Love the picture of you getting your hair cut. Cody is a cutie pie! Your wrist looks really good! NOT! Of course good thoughts to all involved in your surgery and to you of course! You will be in great hands!!
You will do just fine, Lois. No worries. Sending you {{{ HUGS }}} and prayers. I will check back here often to see if there are any updates. Wish I was still there so I could give you some assistance.
I’ve SOOOOO missed your posts and was wondering if another accident had befallen you……and now I know. Taking a break is not the same as getting a break (and in this case not a good one! :)) Be well my dear friend and I’m sending you health and wellness karma along with a dose of safety! XOXO
